Can my pet be cremated with their blanket?
We understand that our pets often have a favourite blanket, toy, or treat and many pet owners receive peace of mind when their favourite thing is cremated with them as they will have this with them forever. We simply ask that the blankets are fire retardant and there are no metal or batteries in their favourite toy.
Are you available at weekends?
We understand that we cannot always predict the loss of our pets and sometimes this can happen in the middle of the night or even on a weekend. Our team are available 24/7 365 days per year and will always offer the same level of care no matter what time of day it is.
Are you able to collect from our home or the vets?
Whether your pet passes away in the comfort of their own home or is put to sleep at your vets, we can still collect them. Alternatively, if you would like to bring them in yourself and say your final goodbye in our specially designed quiet room at our pet cremation Gainsborough, this can be arranged. Simply get in touch with our team and we can discuss the different options and begin organising the process.
Will my pet be cremated on their own?
Our team follow a strict protocol to ensure that each and every pet which we cremate will be cremated individually and you will only be given your pets ashes, no other pets. After each cremation, the area is thoroughly cleaned out and no residue or ashes are left behind.

What do I do if my pet passes away late at night?
If your pet passes away late at night, do not worry about the time. A member of our team will always be on the end of the phone to comfort grieving pet owners and discuss options. We can always be available to collect your pet, day, or night, at the earliest convenience. Alternatively, your pet may be kept at your home overnight in a cool or air-conditioned room until the morning when our team will be there to collect, or we will organise for you to come to our premises.
Can we say our final goodbye at Westfields?
We are proud to say that we have a quiet room which is available for you to sit with your pet, say your final goodbyes and reflect on all of your fond memories you have had with them. Whilst in our quiet room, you can choose your casket along with pet keepsakes we offer. You can find our remembrance book in there also which is open to all pet owners to leave a sweet message to their pet.
Do you offer cremation for horses?
As well as our small pet cremation, we can also facilitate equine cremation and other large animals such as cattle, sheep, alpacas, and more. If your large animal has passed away or needing to be put down, please get in touch with our partnering business, G W Lord and we will be there to assist you through the entire process.
What happens if my vet puts my pet down?
If your vet has put your pet to sleep, you do not have to organise your private cremation through them. We can collect straight from your vets or your home once they have been put to sleep.
There are certain vets which our team work alongside when a pet gets put to sleep through them and in this circumstance, you may organise collection through your veterinary practice.
